COURTCOAT
GENKEM COURTCOAT is a high solid 100% acrylic topcoat. It provides
the wearing surface for all the Genkem Sport Surfaces. This final coat is
formulated with the highest quality colour pigments and acrylic binders to
ensure permanent non-fading court surfaces. GENKEM COURTCOAT reduces
glare and lowers the surface temperature of the pavement.
As a finish, GENKEM COURTCOAT will look attractive for many years
(5-8 years, depending on quality of housekeeping, between recoating) with
a minimum amount of maintenance. Outdoor courts should be kept free of
dirt, sand, etc. In most locations, normal rainfall and occasional sweeping is
all the maintenance required.
GENKEM COURTCOAT is supplied as a concentrate and is diluted with water
at the jobsite.

APPLICATION:
Single Colour Court (Playing Surface and Outer Surface)
• Use 10.5 x 40kg of QCC862
• To mix the product use a separate container, add 9lt of water to
40kg of QCC862 (All colour variants)
• Apply using a squeegee across the width of the court, working
towards an exit point. To assist even spread, Three squeegees are
to be used following on from each other.
• Apply two coats allowing each to dry completely before applying
the next.
Two-colour Court (Colour 1 – Outer Surface, Colour 2 – Playing
Surface)
• Use 7 x 40kg of Colour 1
• To mix the product use a separate container, add 9lt of water to
40kg of QCC862 (All colour variants)
• Use 3.5 x 40kg of Colour 2
• To mix the product use a separate container, add 9lt of water to
40kg of QCC862 (All colour variants)
• Apply using a squeegee across the width of the court, working
towards an exit point. To assist even spread, Three squeegees are
to be used following on from each other.
• Apply two coats of each colour (i.e. Colour 1 and Colour 2) allowing
each to dry completely before applying the next.
TIP:
Decant COLOURCOAT into a 100l drum (200l drum cut in half).
Add required water and stir well with a metal paddle welded to a metal pole.
Minimum Application Temperature of 10°C to 30˚C.
Application is with either roller, Neoprene rubber squeegee, or spray
GENKEM SPORTSCOATS are not hazardous” and is free of lead, mercury,
asbestos and formaldehyde.
